I live in Australia, which means I get to wake up to some of the most incredible wildlife in the world every day — and I never take that for granted.

I created the Wild Outback Tales: Kira and Friends series because I wanted to share that love with my young nieces and nephew overseas, who are mad about books and stories.

It felt like it would be the perfect way to bridge the distance — sending a little piece of Australia straight into their hands. I hope these books bring the same joy to your little ones as they do bring to my family.
